The Second World War Experience Centre is dedicated to the international rescue, preservation, conservation and study of the evidence of the individual in the circumstance of war, 1939-45.
Our Journal – Everyone’s War – features articles, many by well known international historians as well as lives from the archive by our Editor and often the book reviews on a wide range of wartime subjects.
The Printed Journal is only available by special order after Issue 41 as Journal sponsorship itself became a victim of Covid-19. Our eternal thanks to Trailfinders for 12 years of sterling support of our Aims and we wish the very best for the Company and it’s staff as they work to make it possible for us to travel anywhere and everywhere. The Journal continues to be distributed in Digital form, a PDF File, best viewed on a computer screen. Please ensure we have your up to date email address.
We have back issue print versions for most issues and digital from issue 18 (2008) available. Photographs and artwork feature alongside edited transcripts of recorded interviews with men and women who experienced different aspects of the war. Everyone’s War is available for purchase and free to contributing Friends of the Centre.
