The Second World War Experience Centre is dedicated to the international rescue, preservation, conservation and study of the evidence of the individual in the circumstance of war, 1939-45.
Our Journal – Everyone’s War – features articles, many by well known international historians as well as book reviews on a wide range of wartime subjects.
The Printed Journal ceases after Issue 41 as this sponsorship itself becomes a victim of Covid-19. Our eternal thanks to Trailfinders for 12 years of sterling support of our Aims and we wish the very best for the Company and it’s staff as they work to make it possible for us to travel anywhere and everywhere when it is once again something more people want to do.
The Journal will continue in Digital form and we have back issue print versions and digital from issue 18 (2008) available. Photographs and artwork feature alongside edited transcripts of recorded interviews with men and women who experienced different aspects of the war. Everyone’s War is available for purchase and free to contributing Friends of the Centre.
